Persimmon Chocolate Chip Cookie, 3 oz

FOR DELIVERY TO the U.S. States of AL, DE, IL, IN, IA, KY, MD, MI, MO, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, VA, WV, and WI:  Each 2010 pint is $8; each 2009 pint is $5.  Packaging for the first pound  is $16 and Postage $12 (1 pint = 1 lb). Each additional pint’s packaging is $2 and postage is $1.50.  The chart will give you examples of the most common orders.
FOR DELIVERY TO the U.S.  States of AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, KS, LA, ME, MA, MN, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OK, OR, PA, RI, SD, TX, UT, VT, WA, and WY: Each 2010 pint is $8; each 2009 pint is $5.  Packaging for the first pound is $16 and Postage $35.  Each additional pint’s packaging is $2 and postage is $10.00. The chart will give you examples of the most common orders.
Shipment to Alaska, Hawaii, or Other Countries requires a quote by email or phone call.
One pint is approximately two cups.  Color variations are a normal part of persimmons and range from a deep yellow to dark reddish brown.
Pulp ships on Monday or Tuesday of every week to allow time for delivery before the weekend.  
Ingredients: Persimmon Pulp, Brown Sugar, Butter, Unbleached Flour, Chocolate Chips, White Chips, Eggs, English Walnuts, Oats, Whole Wheat Flour, Flax Seed, Spices, Vanilla, Baking Soda, Baking Powder

Ingredients: Persimmon Pulp from the Common American Persimmon grown locally in Southern Indiana.

Our persimmons are harvested by local collectors who follow strict guidelines to ensure the fruit is fresh and of high quality. Each fruit is inspected and cleaned before it is processed for pulp.  We are certified by the Indiana Department of Health.

Find a new favorite recipe in our persimmon cookbooks.  The Dymple’s Delight cookbook, titled Persimmon Recipes, was written by a Southern Indiana native.  It includes puddings, pies, cakes, cookies, breads, candies, and other desserts, such as ice cream and marmalade.  The Bear Wallow Books cookbook, titled Old-Fashioned Persimmon Recipes, includes puddings, breads, cakes, cookies, pies, salads, breakfasts, ice creams, sauces, and candies.  It gives a short explanation on how to harvest, clean, and process persimmons.  Both books are paperback.
